Class Resume

After 6 weeks break, my sewing class resume, I felt quite happy to see my teacher and my classmates back and teacher is going to teacher us smocking, this is the first time I do some hand sewing on fabric then transform it to a top, I am so excited with that.

We learn the basic smocking skill in the first class, it will be used to put on our top, well it might take quite sometime to complete it and we don't know how long would it take, teacher said we can make a small jecket if we could complete it before the end of semester.

Really, it is happiness to gather with people who have same interest with me :)

Gardening

Lately, SL also found that he needs some healthy activity (beside gaming) for his spare time, we shouldn't spend all of our time just on job, as we might regret when we really need to leave the world too early. So, he got his new hobby right now - gardening, well I might say it as potting or planting.

Since our house got no much space for gardening (our balcony is the only limited area), so we only can buy some small pots of plant to decorate it. Until now, we got type pots sitting at our balcony. Here are the starting photos of our plants and they're blooming more recently :)

This flower (Bougainvillea) is the first ever resident of our balcony, we bought it at plant nursery in Sungai Ara for RM38.

And this one is little fortune tree which we bought from floral festival in Botanical Garden for RM68.

And, this is little red flower I bought from floral festival in Botanical Garden for RM8 as well, I chose it just because it is cheap and beautiful but I didn't expect it can grow forever.

My sewing class

Finally, the sewing class was at the last class yesterday, I had totally attended 12 classes and successfully made three clothes, a pair of pant, a chongsum shirt and a dress.

When my mum knows I was attending class, she said that she could teach me some sewing skill after back to hometown. Actually, I found it wasn't too hard to learn sewing and I think I am able to do sewing by myself now.

However, I really miss the class so much, I like to be with my teacher and classmates, I found some bond with them and happiness when seeing and chatting with them, I really hope that we could see again, not really for attending class, but because I can have time with friends who have same interest with me, that we can share information and idea with each others.

Teacher said that she got another class next semester and I hope that I will be able to attend it.

Starting

I start taking sewing class recently, I am kind of crazy on it and keep searching online about information on it, so I am thinking to start another blog area for my interest and something that I do during my spare time, I wish that is I got something besides job to do outside of my working hours, our life should not just fill with work, but we need to have something interested us to keep learning and keep us inspired.

Life without interest is vain, life with only job is wasted. I wish that I can keep it and continue.
